Good morning, everyone, and welcome to today’s Daily Devotional for Friday, October 9!

What a blessing it is to begin another day together in the presence of the Lord.

Whatever season you are walking through today, remember this truth:

KEEP DOING GOOD.

There are times when doing what is right can leave us feeling weary. You may have been helping others, praying for your family, or faithfully serving without seeing the results you hoped for.

But you can bring that weariness to your Heavenly Father. Ask Him to renew your strength and help you remain faithful in the opportunities before you.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Family, Paul encouraged believers to persevere in doing good. The verses around this passage remind us to help carry one another’s burdens and use our opportunities to care for others.

Your kindness matters. A word of encouragement, an honest decision, a prayer, or a practical act of service can make a difference, even when you do not see its full effect.

You may not receive recognition or an immediate response. Keep asking God to shape your motives and help you serve with love rather than depending on praise.

Remaining faithful also requires wisdom. Take time to rest, receive support, and recognize that you cannot meet every need yourself.

Today, ask the Lord to show you one good thing you can do. Perhaps you can encourage someone, offer help, make peace, or complete a responsibility with care.

Trust God with the results as you take that step. Let His love strengthen your heart and guide the way you treat the people around you.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, help me remain faithful in doing good. Renew my strength where I am weary, and keep my heart tender toward others. Give me wisdom to serve well, rest when needed, and receive help with humility. Show me someone I can encourage today. Help me act with love, trust You with the results, and continue walking in obedience to Your Word. In Jesus’ name, amen.
